Babies Should Be Stylish, Too
2009 August 4

Years ago I noticed a woman in church burping her baby over an adorable burp rag. To be honest I thought it was silly to have a baby spit up all overĀ something so cute. But now I think differently. I am not entirely sure what changed my mind, but I have started making them for friends more often and keep coming up with fun decorative ideas (and still searching). Why not burp in style?
PS – the “E” is for Elizabeth, my friend’s new baby girl

ooooh…so pretty. you have gift for pretty. good thing you’re having a girl!!

Love them!!! You are truly in the nesting pattern my dear! Love you lots!! Tell baby hello from auntie Claire.
I love your burp cloths and your beautiful cards. You’ve been blessed with many talents. Too bad I’m not having any more kids!
What cute burb cloths. When did you learn to sew–or embroider for that matter? You are quite the domesticated diva. I love it. Ki and I were just talking about you the other day. He let out a HUGE burp and then had the audacity to exclaim, “Don’t blame me, you are the one who taught me how to burb!” He further stated, “You are responsible for ruining Steph and I. We were refined and genteel before you taught us such a nasty habit.” (My head is hanging in shame.) Steph, please accept my apology for teaching you such a vulgar thing. At the time, I thought it was a bit sad that neither of you knew how to belch. Ohh–how sorry I am that I ever pitied you. I am the one who feels a bit of pity. — And please ask Juan to forgive me also.
You have an embroidery machine?! Girl, I will totally pay you to embroider some stuff for me!!!
oh my gosh, I didn’t know you sew! Awesome job on the burp cloths, I love them.
