Factor V/MTHFR: Share Your Experience
I am on a constant search for information and personal experiences with Factor V and MTHR. Some articles that I find full of medical jargin (that I simply cannot comprehend). That’s ok. I don’t need to be an expert. But I am hoping to find more experiences of other women (or men) who have been through, going through, or will go through treatments for FVL during pregnancy.
In my search today I found some articles that didn’t challenge my intelligence that I want to share:
Mayo Clinic
Thrompophilia Awareness Project
BrooklynGirl (bolgger): thanks for the post!
I am interested in knowing others experiences with Factor V or MTHFR (and thank you to those who have already shared). If anyone out there in the big cyber world wants to share their experince, and are willing to let me post it on my blog, then please contact me. Shared personal experiences may be posted anonymously. (See other stories here.)

shoot me an email and i’ll link you to the FVL-PG group on yahoo. you will find all the support/answers you need.
i was on lovenox (120 mg daily) then switched to heparin at the end. Most women with FVL are induced early to prevent stillbirth/abruption/complications.
our daughter was born ill – related to clotting on my placenta. but for every scary story, there are hundreds of successful ones!
i’d also DEFINITELY consider seeing a high-risk OB (perinatologist) during your pregnancy
Yup, I promptly got me one of those perinatologist docs. Special me
